The blog at photosbychriscoffman.com is back up and running for 2015! I’m happy to report that I recently returned from a wonderful cruise of Alaska’s Inside Passage, where I was the guest photographer teaching the passengers on Holland America’s MS Volendam how to take better photos during Olivia Travel’s 2015 Alaska trip Thanks to the extremely hardworking staff at Olivia and Holland America, it was a fantastic voyage. We brought beautiful weather to all three port days in Juneau, Skagway, and Ketchikan, as well as to our much-awaited day in Glacier Bay. The fog was just rolling in over Ketchikan as we departed for our return to Vancouver.
Over the next month, I’ll be posting the best of the photographs I took on this trip. Today, I have a series of images of Mendenhall Glacier in Juneau. I took a bus out to the glacier and, by hiking its very well-maintained trails as well as venturing off-trail at points, took the photos that I’m posting today. I’ll be posting more images of Juneau, its surroundings, and the waterfall by the glacier soon, so keep checking back! All of these photographs are available for purchase as durable prints, with a framing service available. The images are also available for rights-managed digital licensing that would be of particular interest to those preparing brochures and articles about travel to Alaska.
Thanks again to Olivia Travel for having me as a guest on the Ms Volendam during this trip!
